Brougham's VET in Schools Program

vet main picVET in Schools programs are designed to expand opportunities and pathways for senior secondary students, as well as address the employment needs of industry in Victoria.

Introduced in 1994, VET in Schools programs comprise nationally recognised VET certificates undertaken by senior secondary students as part of their Victorian Certificate of Education ( VCE ) or the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). They provide a vocationally oriented program of studies leading to a secondary school certificate.

VET in Schools programs are typically delivered through partnership between schools, industry and training providers.
Brougham School of Art & Photography, in conjunction with secondary colleges in the Geelong region, deliver VET programs that enable secondary college students to gain valuable skills and knowledge for their education, further training, career opportunities and future employment.

By completing one of our VET programs secondary college students will gain a nationally recognised and accredited qualification.

As well as allowing students to experience study in a career they may be considering, all VET programs contribute to the eligibility requirements for VCE/VCAL and many VET programs also contribute to the student's ENTER score.
