Cerificate IV in Photoimaging
This is a work-based ‘hands on’ learning course in which relevant history and theory are combined with practical application in projects that include image capture, image enhancement, manipulation and output, lighting techniques and safe working practices. Small classes ensure that individual learning requirements are met.
Brougham’s aim is to equip students with an informed ability to produce Digital and Analog photographic work of quality and the ability to work independently. Business and Exhibition units help prepare students for the professional world.
Visiting industry experts and excursions to galleries and work places are incorporated into the program.
Vocational Opportunities:
The knowledge and experience gained in this course will create opportunities as either photographic assistants or a range of other photoimaging related technical or professional work.
Pathway to Further Study:
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Photoimaging aims to assist students wishing to pursue a pathway to higher level photographic or creative arts studies.
Total Units: 14 Nominal Hour: 850 - 980
Brougham clusters units together to form 10 semester length subjects and 1 term length subject.
